Building Schedule
The school day at CMS begins at 7:55 a.m. All students who are in the building at that time must join their
first hour class. Each of the class periods during the day last approximately 46 minutes. Since no bells
ring to signify the beginning or ending of a class, students must listen closely to their teachers for
dismissal times. School dismisses at 2:45 p.m. The Middle School building is closed at 3:30 p.m. to all students not under the direct supervision of a teacher.
Students should not arrive prior to 7:30 a.m. Once a student arrives on school property, they are not to
leave school at any time without permission from the office. For more information please refer to the CMS Handbook.
